TERMS AND CONDITIONS
DECATHLON FAMILY PROGRAMME
A Customer Family programme has been set up by DECATHLON SINGAPORE PTE LTD, incorporated in Republic of Singapore under company registration number 201225519M, whose registered office is located at 750B, Chai Chee Road, #03-01, Singapore 469002; hereinafter referred to “ Decathlon”.
The Decathlon Family Programme is offered to all Customers who have an e-mail, from individuals to corporations such as clubs or sports associations, from now on referred to as the "Member" or "Customer".
The Decathlon Family Programme is valid for any purchase made:
• in all Decathlon stores in Singapore, as well as in Asian and Oceania countries where the Decathlon brand is present and the Decathlon Family Membership is applied
• Via www.decathlon.sg
The Decathlon Family Programme is free of charge.
In these terms and conditions the following definitions apply:
- Decathlon Family Programme means Decathlon’s Customer Family programme under which a customer will be registered, will become a member and benefits from the advantages of it;
- Decathlon Account means an account issued to a Decathlon Customer that has subscribed to the Decathlon Family Programme online.
1 - TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE
1.1 These terms and conditions set forth the conditions upon which Decathlon administers its Family Programme. By activating your membership to the Decathlon Family Programme, the Member accepts these terms and conditions.
1.2 These terms and conditions are available upon request at Decathlon in-store information desks or online at www.decathlon.sg
1.3 Any Member of Decathlon Family Programme must be resident in Singapore and aged 18 years or over.
1.4 Members of the Decathlon Family Programme must keep Decathlon updated of any personal data changes. Members should ensure that any name or address changes are reported via one of the following methods:
• by providing the relevant information to an attendant at the Welcome desk of the nearest Decathlon store;
• by logging in to his/her Decathlon Account at www.decathlon.sg; or
• by sending a letter to DECATHLON SINGAPORE - Data Protection Officer - 750B Chai Chee Road, #03-01, Singapore 469002.
• by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org
1.5 The Customer programme and/or any benefit conferred by the said programme are not transferable, cannot be, sold, bought, traded and/or copied in any way and can only be used by the Member who is named and registered as Decathlon Family Member.
1.6 Decathlon may, at any time, decline to issue, withdraw, cancel or terminate any benefits, in whatever form, and/or remove a Member from the Decathlon Family Programme where Decathlon reasonably believes there has been:
• any abuse or attempted abuse of the scheme;
• any fraudulent use of the Membership by the Customer and/or any third party acting on behalf of the Member;
• any breach or attempted breach of these terms and conditions;
• any behaviour relating to the Family Programme or to Decathlon that involves theft, misconduct, abusive or offensive behaviour, or supplying false or misleading information.
For the avoidance of doubt, where Decathlon declines to issue, withdraws, cancels or terminates any account and/or benefit on the grounds outlined above, the Member shall not be entitled to any compensation of any kind whatsoever.
1.7 A Member of the Decathlon Family Programme may leave the scheme at any time. By leaving the Family Programme, Members forfeit the right to any benefits already accrued or issued.
2 - APPLICATION FOR THE DECATHLON FAMILY PROGRAMME
2.1 To participate in the Decathlon Family Programme, Customers must complete an application form available either:
• In Decathlon store on the till and completing your account on decathlon.sg
• Online - by going to www.decathlon.sg then clicking 'My Account'. Subject to correctly completing the application form, Customers will be issued with an on-line Decathlon Account
2.2 The Decathlon Family Programme is for personal and consumer use only. No DECATHLON account and/or other benefit conferred by the Decathlon Family Programme may be used for any business transaction or purpose.
2.3 The Member and/or any sports team and/or sports club warrants that all information provided to Decathlon in order to become a member of the Decathlon Family Programme is accurate. The Member assumes sole responsibility for any incorrect, incomplete, or out-of-date information.
3 - BENEFITS OF THE DECATHLON FAMILY PROGRAMME
DECATHLON Family Members will be able to take advantage of the following benefits:
3.1 Return or exchange of Decathlon passion brand products within a delay of 365 DAYS from the date of the purchase, without providing the receipt of purchase
3.2 An additional one-year warranty for the Decathlon Products covered by a sales warranty.
3.3 Free one-time bike servicing when you purchase a bicycle following your registration to our workshop service.
3.4 Exclusive promotional offers and services and special advantages at events organized by Decathlon

special offers and sporting events organized by Decathlon in
3.5 Personal notification of the withdrawal or recall of a product for quality and/or safety reasons :
When Decathlon or one of its suppliers, makes a decision for quality reasons and/or safety, a withdrawal of product from the sale and/or the recall of a product, Decathlon has the possibility to contact personally each Member of the Decathlon Family Programme. The information will be send, subject to the discretion of Decathlon, by e-mail, mail, or phone call. Decathlon doesn’t take responsibility if the Customer details are outdated.
3.6 Members may request, within a period of two years from the date of purchase, a duplicate of their till receipts for items purchased with Decathlon, without submitting any proof of purchase :
This service concerns all purchases made in store and carried along with the Decathlon Account. This service is subject to the production of a valid DECATHLON account and a proof of identity.
The Customer will automatically receive e-mails related to Decathlon Family Programme. The refusal to accept these emails will exempt the Customer from the Decathlon Family Programme in accordance with Article 6.3.
4 - LIABILITY
4.1 Liability of Decathlon
Decathlon undertakes to use its best endeavours to provide to the member of the Decathlon Family Programme an optimal use of the services associated with the Decathlon Family Programme. However, Decathlon shall not be liable to any member of the Decathlon Family Programme for any damages, losses, costs and/or expenses incurred whether in contract, tort, negligence or otherwise and howsoever arising relating to the Decathlon Family Programme or the use of the Decathlon Account, and/or any benefit conferred on the Customer by virtue of the Decathlon Family Programme, including (without limitation) in respect of any delays, delivery errors and/or connection problems. Nothing in this Article 4.1 shall affect any statutory rights that the Customer has including any rights in relation to defective goods supplied by Decathlon.
4.2 Customer’s liability
The Customer shall provide in the Decathlon Family Programme application form true and accurate contact details to ensure to obtain the benefits of the Decathlon Family Programme.
The Decathlon Account is personal and non-transferrable. Consequently, the Customer is responsible for his account, which he undertakes to use according to these terms and conditions. The Customer is solely liable for any use he may make of his username and password and is the sole guarantor of their confidentiality, and of any use made of his Decathlon Account. As such, the Customer undertakes in particular (non-limiting list):
(a) to create only one Decathlon Account in his name;
(b) to guarantee the accuracy of all information given to Decathlon when joining the Family Programme;
(c) to ensure that the data communicated to Decathlon make it possible to contact him (postal address, e-mail), are secure and used solely by the Member;
(d) to relieve Decathlon of liability in the event of use by an unauthorised third party of the benefits acquired by the Customer as part of its Family Programme;
(e) to inform Decathlon of any unauthorised use of his account and of any breach of the confidentiality and security of his means of identification.
5 - MODIFICATIONS TO OR SUSPENSION OF THE DECATHLON FAMILY PROGRAMME
5.1 The Decathlon Account shall be valid for the lifetime of the Decathlon Family Programme. However, Decathlon reserves at all times, the right to change or stop the benefits of it without having to justify its decision and without compensation to the Customer.
5.2 All Customers that continue to use the Decathlon Family Programme scheme after such a change will be deemed to have accepted the updated terms and conditions and acknowledge that these updated terms and conditions will replace all previous versions.
5.3 Decathlon will not be liable or responsible for any failure to perform, or delay in performance of any of its obligations under these terms and conditions that might be caused by events outside Decathlon’s reasonable control (“Force Majeure Event”). Decathlon’s obligations under these terms are suspended for the period that the Force Majeure Event continues, and Decathlon will extend the time to perform these obligations for the duration of that period.
5.4 In the case of a Decathlon Account’s inactivity for a period of 10 years from the last date of use, the account will be cancelled and all the data stored on the account will be deleted.
6 - COLLECTION AND PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA
6.1 Recipients of the data
6.1.1 The data collected through the Decathlon Family Programme is intended for the company DECATHLON SINGAPORE PTE LTD, in his capacity as data controller. This information is also intended for the company DECATHLON SA and its subsidiaries (DECATHLON Group). To learn more about Decathlon Group companies, the Customer can visit the site http://corporate.decathlon.com . 6.1.2 Decathlon may be able to transfer the personal data of its Customers to its service providers in charge of some parts of the administration of the Decathlon Family Programme. These service providers are all companies located in Singapore, European Union, China and/or in the United States. By agreeing to be bound by the terms and conditions of the Decathlon Family Programme, the Customer accepts the transfer of his personal data for the purpose described in Article 6.2.
6.1.3 The Customer is informed that Decathlon may be subject to the provision of such data when it is imposed by the competent authorities, including following a request of the judicial authority. In all other cases, Decathlon does not transmit to third parties the personal data of its Customers without their consent.
6.2 Purposes of the collection
6.2.1 The personal data collected in the framework of the Decathlon Family Programme are subject to computer processing, which is carried out in accordance with the legal framework in force. These treatments allow the delivery of the Customer’s account management, the provision of benefits and services associated with the Decathlon Family Programme, processing orders, etc.
6.2.2 The personal data collected will be used by DECATHLON SINGAPORE and any company of the DECATHLON Group, through education and marketing activities and statistics to provide the Customer with the most adapted offers to their sporting preferences, to monitor the quality of the products and services offered and to allow marketing by any channel type (paper mail, electronic, mobile, etc.).
6.3 Data Protection
6.3.1 The Customer acknowledges and accepts that the information provided by the Customer on the Decathlon Family Programme application form is required to process of the memberships of the Customer to the Decathlon Family Programme and its benefits. The Customer is informed that the delivery of the data contained in this application is mandatory and its absence or incorrectness empowers the programme to deny their involvement. The sections not marked with * are optional and will not deny the application.
6.3.2 By virtue of the Personal Data protection Act 2012 and its related subsidiary legislations, the Customer has a right of access, rectification, cancellation and opposition to the processing of his/her personal data. These rights may be exercised:
(a) By requesting it at the reception of your local store (upon presentation of proof of identity)
(b) Via the personal account "My Decathlon Card" available on the website www.decathlon.sg
(except the right to cancel)
(d) By sending an e-mail (attach copy of proof of identity) to: email@example.com

6.3.3 The Customer may also request not to receive marketing communications, even if he had given his approval before. To do this, the Customer can use the contact methods mentioned above. For communications by email, the Customers can also use the means at their disposal in the relevant communications (unsubscribe link in an e-mail). These means allow the Customer to stop this type of communication (for technical reasons, allow up to 10 days before that the unsubscribe takes effect).
7 - GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION
7.1 A person who is not party to these terms shall not have any rights under or in connection with them under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 2001, revised in 2002.
7.2 These terms and Conditions (Decathlon Family Programme) shall be governed by and construed in accordance the laws of Singapore. The State Courts of the Republic of Singapore shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
